Hey all you pet loving Wine Spacers! I am starting this forum discussion so that you can post pictures of the “most important” four legged people in your lives so we can get to know them too. You know who I am talking about… yeah, all those furry people that walk on four legs and are usually closer to you than your best friends and family members.
I want you to post their pictures here so that they can become my friends too. To kick it off here is a picture of my friend Tyrone. As you can see he is one of those spotted dogs that usually hang out at fire stations and stuff. He mainly hangs out in Santa Cruz Mountains and he likes to hike and bark with his friends. Post your pictures and include a little story about your friend.
Okay, This is Jack - a cousin of Tyrone's who lives in the Mississippi Delta. No one knows for sure which side of the family Jack gets his dashing good looks from, no one so far will own up to it. Born on the Mexican Border, Jack speaks fluent Spanish and loves TexMex, corona, and maraguarita specials at the local catina. He has had a hard time adapting to Mississippi, but has managed to learn some local Redneck terms:
BAR CODE: Them’s the fight’n rules down at the local tavern. FAT: - (noun), (verb) - A battle or combat; to engage in battle or combat.
Usage: "You younguns keep fat'n, n' ah'm gonna whup y'uh." GRIYUTS: What no Southern breakfast would be without - grits.
Usage:"Ah like griyuts with butter and sawt on'em, but Ah purely love'em with red-eye gravy."
He's generally a good dog that likes to sleep on the sofa when no one is looking and jumps on the beds when we leave him alone too long.
Hey Max,
Here I am with my favorite dog. Not much to look at, but she's comfortable to lay up against when I'm tired. Her name is Ellie. She's not much in the brains department, but she is gentle. One other good thing is that there's always a good milkbone around that I can much on when I get hungry.
By the way, I'm the good looking one with the long ears.....
Hope this comes out okay. Just wanted to share my "Weiners" with you all. Carmie is my miniature, mahoghany dachshund. She looks very innocent but is really a killer. Slinky is my standard, red dachshund. He can usually be found lounging on the couch while Carmie does all the work.
