We have two options for our newest Petit Verdot blend, Tal Padre. The full name of the wine is "Tal Padre, Tal Figlio", which, in Italian, means "Like Father, Like Son". The first photo (old school one) is Ezio & Ron Donati. The second is Ron & Matt Donati. (Polaroid Style)

Let me hear your opinion! Option #1

Option #2

Just leave a comment below, it's as easy as saying 1 or 2. You don't have to give me a reason... but if you have the time, I'd love to hear it! :)

Hey B,
Both are great shots, I leaned toward #1. I know its an old pic, can it be cleaned up a tad(photoshop or ?) and still maintain it's old photo charm and warmth? Of course, actual label size surely presents better than my computer screen!

I like the look of Option #1 - it is very classic. However, Option #2 relates more to the DFV Brand with Ron and Matt. It's a tough choice, but I would pick #1.

Number one! Looks classier and conveys tradition.

Good afternoon Brandy! Thanks for asking my opinion; however, you may learn to regret it!

Bottom-line, my visceral reaction was for the sepia-tone vintage number one photo.

But both images are good, and stay on message with the brand (i.e. “Family”). Maybe the choice should be based on the wine. Does it taste like an “old-world” offering like photo number one, or is youthful and brash in the “new-world” style as depicted by the fabulous 70’s-style Polaroid?

oh, it's youthful and racy... much like yourself, my esteemed Harlot Friend! I never regret your opinions, they make me laugh. Luckily, no one is acting like a 2 year old today, so all is well!
I like the idea of having the label reflect the wine, you're a smaht cookie!

I'm thinking maybe the weekend before the festival in May for a visit. Nothing firm yet.

oooh! May 2nd is our first Bocce & BBQ event, and also the day after my birthday. May is also Mitch's bday month, so I think it is going to be a bash and a half, we'll have a great party & BBQ... you should join us then ;) I'll have just gotten back into the country...

I like #1. I think the old picture gives the bottle a different look. #2 is a little to bold and bright. Just my opinion!

My view - go with the option 2 - it will show better on the web and that is as important if not more than the retail shelf these days. More people need to consider how they appear on the web as so many labels wash out on websites.
