Chardonnay Shaved Ice Anyone?

I had the pleasure of pouring our wines at the 2nd Annual Avila Beach Concours D' Elegance Event which was a benefit for the Hospice of San Luis Obispo. Auto enthusiasts from all over the state came together this weekend for tastings, dinners, and timed rally tours through Wine Country. The first grand dinner of the weekend was held at the historic Santa Margarita Ranch on Friday night. The Ranch boasts original steam engine trains from Disneyland, which still operate to this day.

A Hairy Situation (Day 34)

Its been well over a month now since shaving and I can't remember what its like to be clean shaven. Rocking a Harvest Beard poses certain issues that need to be addressed:

1. The "Neck Beard"- All that hair that grows under your chin and on your neck is very unsightly and needs to be cleaned up on a regular basis. It's very tempting to just shave it all off...

This was the first time I saw snow covered grape vines. It was pretty, but their reds do not compare to ours at all. I do so love their dessert wines.
